Pangels(Parents of Angels) was co-founded in 2021 by Michelle Rosoff & Traci Watson, two women who were brought together through the heartache and struggles of learning to live without their child. As grieving parents, we both were constantly searching for something more to help us heal. We signed up and went on a retreat hosted by While We’re Waiting and It was amazing, a place you can be raw and open with others who are understanding. It felt so good to be somewhere you can remove all your disguises and just be the true and honest you with no judgements or expectations. Because of what a great experience this was, we decided that very weekend to start holding weekend retreats, hence Pangels(Parents of Angels) was born. Our upcoming dates for open retreats can be found on our registration tab and we are currently taking registration forms and encourage you to submit yours as soon as possible to assure you a spot. All retreats are of no cost, you are only responsible for your transportation to and from the retreat. All accommodations including lodging and food are covered by Pangels.
Our weekend retreats provide a safe space for bereaved parents to openly talk with other bereaved parents about the struggles of living without our children. Here parents connect with others who truly understand their pain and can gain tools to help them better cope with the their loss. We give everyone the opportunity to do what we all love to do, talk about our children. We encourage anyone to bring there instruments to play in the evenings during our nightly bonfire.
All accommodations will be provided including food, snacks, lodging and refreshments.
Building lifelong relationships with parents who truly understand how much losing a child effects all aspects of our lives.
Please refer to our registration form to see our upcoming retreats.
We are what we refer to as a "Mobile Retreat" which means we will be holding retreats throughout the country. Our home retreats will be based in North Carolina, however, If you would like a retreat to be held close to you, please let us know.
